Life as we know it!

Well it's been awhile since i've updated and I appologize. Also to everyone who has email me and I haven't had a chance to email you back. First the life updates. Ok. So Ted has finally retired. (hence why I don't have time to write back) He feels better when he doesn't have to put in so much work. He still has been putzing around the house and doing alot of upgrades. Nothing major just trim and painting and a couple of windows. He has been having fun. Usually if he goes out I go with him. We have been spending alot of time together. I guess it's our "Retirement Years" We like to have lunch together now and then and spend some quality time together too. He still has his sleep days and still has pain. Usually when he does way too much. We decided that we didn't need three cars. We have the Van, Teds truck and Kyles truck. So yup...we sold Teds Truck!. I know your shocked! He handled it well and we got a good amount for it. We also traded in the Van, but we still have it right now. We ordered an Escape Hybrid. Really nice car and with what we got for Teds truck and the van. We don't have to pay any money down and our payments our going to be about half that the vans are. So in the end...it's all good. We even save quite a bit on gas with the Hybrid. The Escape won't be here till march though. It had to be special ordered and we got the options we wanted. IT was really neat ordering a car. So know if Ted does go out on his own he can drive Kyle's Truck. He doesn't go out too often by himself and that's why we decided we didn't need the extra vehicle. Besides we even saved on the insurance.

The kids are doing great and doing well in school. They are such great kids and we are so proud.

ok...we saw the Doctor on Friday. The CEA Levels went up a bit to...30. We had treatment but that is our last treatment for the year. Ted is going in on the next treatment day to get an iron infusion. His counts are low and his blood cells are small so this hopefully will help him get some energy. We have scans scheduled around the first of the year. (get the deductible out of the way) And then we see the Doctor on the 11th. We go over the scans and see what our next options are. I know the Doctor is going to want to start more chemo. I don't know what Ted wants too do. We will just have to see what the numbers are and what the scans say.

Well If I don't blog before Christmas have a Merry one. Thanks for all the support that your send. I'll try and catch up on individual emails as soon as I can. *hugs* to all. Love Karen and Ted and the kids.
