Alot too update on

Ok. So since the last time he had treatment and the following week he couldn't get treatment cause his counts were low. So we had a good long break from chemo. Probably about a month or so. Let me tell you something. We had a great couple of weeks. Now not everyday but for the most part, Ted was clearer then he has in a long time. We went to the outerbanks for a week and had a great time with Family and Friends. Towards the end of the week he got tired, but I think it was partly because he didn't have anything to focus on and he was out in the sun/pool too much. But over all it was a great vacation. So on Friday we told the doctor that there was going to be no more chemo. He took the news well, and agreed it would make his life more quality, and there was no gaurantees it would extend his life any. We are still doing the bone hardener and transfusions if needed. The bone hardener is to try and prevent the tumor from growing into his tail bone. So Monday we had a transfusion. And Ted says he is feeling better then he has in the past few weeks. But unfortunatly it couldn't stop the tumor from closing up his uretors. So Wednesday at 8:30am we had to take a trip to the ER to get another nephrostomey tube in his right kidney. This sucked royally. The ER Doctor Sucked! I told him what ted needed and then he preceeded to scare the shit out of me and tell me after he visually looked at ted's side. That he thinks there fluid rolling loose in there. Well he ordered a cat scan. Which is fine, better be safe. Well after waiting hours, the stupid ER Doc never came back. He left at three. Well some called our urologist around 2:30pm, he walked in without even looking at the ct scan and said yes lets get you into angio and get this tube in. We knew this was gonna happen eventually. Well ya know if the ER doc called out doc at say maybe 9:30am we might have been home by 5pm. But no, things didn't roll until our Doc came and pushed things along. Angio came and (they all know Ted well) told me they have been slow today they could have gotten him in sooner if they were called. ughhh .. I wanted to scream. Anyhow they got him in and unfortunatly because Ted is so used to pain meds it too alot for them to put him out and make him comfortable for the procedure. The Angio Doctor said we had to stay for 4 more hours because he gave him so much meds. I tried to bargin 3 hours but he wasn't budging. So I made sure we were out of the ER by 11pm. God that had to be longest day of my life. Considering i was up at 4am taking my daughter to the airport. She went to visit her friend in Texas. Crazy CRAZY.....ohh did I also say that this was a new ER built next to the old one. 2ND day open. Just our luck! But in the end. Ted feels much better he has both kidney's draining now. Well I think that pretty much sum's it up. I'll try to post more often. I just haven't had much time lately. Love to all. Thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts.
